As you read today on The Viking Age, news comes down that it is possible Kevin Williams will have to serve a two game suspension for his taking of StarCaps.

A two-game suspension? Really? What a bunch of s**t. I mean c’mon Roger G couldn’t we just let bygones be bygones? Hey Mr. G, couldn’t we get a “makeup call?” I mean, seriously do you remember the 2009 NFC Championship Game? Our beloved Purple played the Saints and well…some gentlemen that work for you missed a couple calls. If that wasn’t bad enough we had fairly high hopes around our beloved Purple for last season and well…it didn’t work out. So I guess I’m just asking that you throw us a bone. What is a little diuretic between friends? Whatever happened to the day when a professional athlete could take a diuretic and then apologize and then continue to play? Well Roger G? What happened to those days?

I mean c’mon. It’s a diuretic. What makes StarCaps so important? You wouldn’t be so mad if 93 was all poundin’ down the cranberries or celery or prune juice would you?

C’mon Roger G. Football is back. Can’t you feel the love? I can feel it. I can feel the love, I can feel it in my bowels.

This is all just really hard to digest. Whatever you decide Mr. G, I will live with because football is back and it’s all aboard the Viking Train!
