Special Teams

With the 72 overall rated Blair Walsh now in Seattle there is only one winner of the Vikings training camp battle to replace him on Madden. Unfortunately Marshall Koehn didn’t make the initial Madden roster so by default the 77 rated Kai Forbath is the victor. With 85 kick power and 87 kick accuracy users are unlikely to have much luck kicking from distance.

At Punter a similar situation unfolds with Taylor Symmank missing the cut and Ryan Quigley the only option. Quigley is rated 76 overall but boasts a huge rating of 93 in kick power, unfortunately his accuracy lags behind significantly at 81.

Next: Vikings Kicker Competition

With Cordarrelle Patterson taking his 96 rated return skills to Oakland the virtual Vikings have a few options to replace him. Marcus Sherels leads the way with a 91 kick return rating and 95 acceleration. Stefon Diggs presents an option with return skills rated 85 but as the leading wide receiver additional duties may be unwise. Jerick McKinnon and Rodney Adams present viable options for the Minnesota Vikings with kick return ratings of 82 and 83 respectively.
