Tight Ends

  1. Kyle Rudolph
  2. David Morgan
  3. Kyle Carter / Bucky Hodges
  4. Nick Truesdell
  5. Josiah Price

Rudolph should be the top option here is nearly every situation. He combines a solid combination of receiving threat and blocking that sound have him seeing a huge amount of snaps during the 2017 season.

Then, we have David Morgan, who is considered to be a blocking specialist. He should be used in most run situations on offense as well as pass protection or even sneaking out as a receiving threat.

The interesting part comes in at #3. Combining Kyle Carter and Bucky Hodges is confusing. Hodges is definitely a receiving specialist for the Vikings, but listing them together indicates this is some kind of tie in training camp, which doesn’t bode well for Hodges at this point.
