Right Tackle

There are really no surprises on this part of the list. Veterans are listed ahead of rookies where the competition even though Pat Elflein will likely surpass Nick Easton by the start of the 2017 season.

Preseason injuries to both Reiff and Hill have some experts concerned about depth at the left tackle position, however it sounds as though Hill will be fine and Reiff is on track to be ready for the regular season.

The interesting part is Willie Beavers continuing to bounce all over the offensive line. For him to be listed as the backup right tackle is concerning until it is realized that Jeremiah Sirles is likely the backup there as well as at left guard, but they didn’t want to include a player at multiple spots.
