With the news that Stefon Diggs will not be playing on Sunday due to a groin injury, the opportunity for another Vikings receiver to step up and make some plays is there for the taking this week. Floyd may just be that guy to take advantage of Diggs’ absence on Sunday.

He made his regular season debut last week against the Bears and was able to be on the field for 46 percent of the offense’s snaps. Floyd only finished with one catch for 19 yards, but his career resume is all the proof anyone should need to know in regards to how capable of a receiver he can truly be.

Also worth noting is that the last time Floyd went against the Packers, he ended up finding the end zone on two different occasions.
