So far this season, Minnesota cornerback Xavier Rhodes has been playing at a ridiculously high level. Because of that, opposing quarterbacks are throwing less in the direction of Rhodes and more passes are being tossed towards Waynes.

The young Vikings corner has not exactly done well with the extra throws coming his way this season. According to Pro Football Focus, Waynes has allowed the fifth-most receptions and the seventh-most receiving yards to opposing receivers this year.
