A multitude of reactions occurred throughout the fan base of the Minnesota Vikings after their dramatic win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Things like this just don’t happen to the Minnesota Vikings.

Normally it’s the Vikings on the wrong side of a surprising, last-second victory. But on the final offensive play of their NFC divisional round matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, it was Minnesota that finally caught a break.

Down a point with just 25 seconds remaining in regulation, Vikings quarterback Case Keenum and the offense had to do their best to somehow get the team close enough for kicker Kai Forbath to attempt a game-winning field goal. However, Forbath never got that opportunity.

With 10 seconds left, Minnesota faced a 3rd and 10 from their own 39-yard line. Keenum took the snap, threw the ball to his right, and that’s when the magic happened.

Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs snatched Keenum’s pass out of the air, turned around, and ran 61 yards for the game-winning score. Diggs’ touchdown will forever be remembered as one of the best moments in the history of the franchise.

So how did Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer, the Vikings’ players, and the team’s fans all react to Diggs’ monumental trip to the end zone?

Diggs’ touchdown causes Zimmer to actually crack a smile

It does not happen very often, but once every leap year or full moon Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer will actually smile. On Sunday, Stefon Diggs gave Zimmer many reasons to remind everyone that he is, indeed, capable of feeling joy.

Following the team’s win, the Vikings’ head coach let his players know how incredibly proud he was of their effort on Sunday.

Then Zimmer hit the podium to speak with the media and it turned into one of his most entertaining press conferences since joining the team in 2014. The head coach found it pretty hard to answer questions as fans continued to cheer from the outside.

Minnesota’s players were just as shocked as everyone else at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday. One second they’re preparing to talk about the end of their season and before they can even blink, Diggs is crossing the goal line and sending the team to the NFC Championship.

Surprise, Vikings fans went crazy

You know those reaction videos that are always going around the internet of people freaking out about stuff? Well, fans of the Minnesota Viking now have the honor of being among those popular posts thanks to their reactions to Stefon Diggs’ game-winning touchdown on Sunday.

This first family looks as though they’re ready to watch another Vikings meltdown come to an end and then Diggs’ trip to the end zone causes it to get a bit dusty inside the room.

This woman attempted to get a little bit of exercise in while she was reacting to the epic Minnesota moment on Sunday.

Tears were a commodity on Sunday, whether it was at home or in the stands at U.S. Bank Stadium watching the touchdown live and in-person.

One could say this guy was a little “excited” when he found out Diggs ended the game with a touchdown.

Being at a Buffalo Wild Wings definitely does not mean someone should not cry after the Vikings’ epic moment on Sunday.

For one fan who was not watching the game in frigid Minnesota, he took this unique opportunity to jump into his pool with his clothes still on. Because why not?

These are just a few of the reactions to what went down inside U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday. Expect a few more to pop up online within the next day or two that will likely have people getting all happy and excited all over again.
