Lock: Danielle Hunter, defensive end

When it comes to pass-rushing, Danielle Hunter has been an absolute stud. Through 10 weeks, he is tied for sixth in sacks with 8.5 and tied for third among defensive ends. At only 25 years old, he continues to look better and learn more with every passing year.

Hunter should return to the Pro Bowl this season because of the pressure he gets on opposing quarterbacks. Opposing teams need to gameplan for how they want to deal with the combination of him and Everson Griffen or they run the risk of subjecting their quarterback to multiple hits.

With one Pro Bowl under his belt already, Hunter has been gaining national attention with each passing week. His pass-rushing power is becoming well-known not only by the local media but the major networks and analysts as well.

Six defensive ends will be voted into the Pro Bowl and it would be a shame if Hunter wasn’t one of them. Most of the major competition at the position is in the AFC (Joey Bosa, Myles Garrett, Justin Houston, etc), so number 99 should find himself in Orlando.
