Which Minnesota Vikings players stood out the most in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions?

The Minnesota Vikings are heating up at the midpoint of the 2020 NFL season with back-to-back division wins over the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions in Week 8 and 9. Next week, they will have an opportunity to make it an NFC North trifecta against the Chicago Bears.

Sunday’s win over the Lions took Minnesota out of the cellar of the NFC North and it provided more hope that the team can string together enough wins to have some playoff hopes after such a disappointing start to the season.

The Vikings’ success continued on Sunday when several players stepped up in a big way to lead the team to a 34-20 victory over the Lions. Now with a 3-5 record and a win at U.S. Bank Stadium under their belt, the sky could be the limit for Minnesota.

Let’s take a look at some of the best players on offense and defense (and thankfully not special teams) from the Vikings game in Week 9 against Detroit.
