The Best

Even though the consecutive games streak for Kyle Rudolph came to an end, that doesn’t mean the Minnesota Vikings were stuck with poor options at the position heading into this game against the Buccaneers.

Irv Smith Jr. had another breakout game. He led the Vikings in receiving yards with four catches on four targets for 63 yards and a touchdown. Smith would not be denied in the red zone and bull-rushed his way into the end zone.

Irv wasn’t alone though. Tyler Conklin made a mark on this game as well, racking up the second-most receiving yards for Minnesota on the day. He caught all five of his targets for 40 yards during the game.

Combined, the two tight ends caught all nine of the throws made toward them for a total of 103 yards. That’s not bad at all considering how much Kyle Rudolph has been used this season for the Minnesota Vikings.
