5 biggest takeaways from the Vikings loss to the Browns in Week 4

It’s time for a change in Minnesota’s secondary
It’s been long enough. Bashaud Breeland may have won the starting job opposite Patrick Peterson at cornerback to enter the season but his play has been frustrating to the point that a change has to be made.
Cameron Dantzler seems to still be in Mike Zimmer’s doghouse (or “puppy house” if you were watching the CBS broadcast) but so far he has been outplaying Breeland this season and a decision needs to be made soon on the lineup going forward.
Through the first four weeks of the 2021 NFL season, Breeland has yet to register a pass defense. Interestingly enough, in significantly less playing time. Dantzler has already made his first pass breakup.
Breeland has been picked on by opposing teams and continues to be a liability in coverage. Unless he can get his confidence back and start playing at a higher level, Mike Zimmer should be considering naming a new starter.
