Who are some of the lesser-known candidates that could end up replacing Mike Zimmer as the new head coach of the Minnesota Vikings?

It has now been a week since the Minnesota Vikings decided to end the tenures of both head coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman.

Over the next few weeks, the Vikings will interview multiple candidates for each vacancy, and eventually, the team will have a new head coach and a new general manager. No matter what, these two decisions will mark the beginning of a new era in the history of the franchise.

So far, Minnesota has already scheduled to meet with more than a handful of head-coaching candidates according to multiple reports, and they’ve already begun the interview process as they met with current Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett on Sunday.

We’ve heard about some of the notable names that could be in the running to be the next Vikings head coach, including Doug Pederson, Eric Bieniemy, and Josh McDaniels. But who are some of the more lesser-known candidates that could sneak under the radar and convince Minnesota that they should become the team’s new head coach?
