So much crap came over the Twitter wire this afternoon that I feel compelled to do a news round-up. Here are the headlines:

Erin Henderson Hasn’t Passed His Concussion Test Yet

Henderson missed Sunday’s game after suffering a concussion the week before. Now it’s looking more like he will miss this weekend’s game as well, as he has yet to pass his concussion tests this week. The Vikes survived against the 49ers with Jasper Brinkley in on nickel – and they used their dime package a bit as well – but the Lions are a different animal even if Matthew Stafford doesn’t play.

Mistral Raymond Won’t Need Surgery, Will Miss 3-5 Weeks

Now here’s something good. Mistral Raymond’s bone-bruised ankle won’t need surgery. He should be back out there in another month or so. When the injury happened you would’ve sworn he got his leg torn off but I guess sometimes reporters can be a bit silly with their accounts.

Jared Allen Has a Bad Neck, Kyle Rudolph Has a Sore Thigh

Jared and K-Rudy both sat out of practice on Wednesday with physical complaints. Jared had to miss some snaps on Sunday because of his neck pull or muscle spasms or whatever it is. Rudolph as we know played the whole game and was spectacular, catching 2 touchdowns from his bud Christian Ponder. I’m guessing both will be out there against Detroit. Jared isn’t going to miss a chance to go up against Jeff Backus.

Jerome Simpson’s Work Load

Leslie Frazier says the plan is to use Jerome Simpson “quite a bit” on Sunday. Well there’s an idea.
