Christian Ponder Got Engaged To Samantha Steele. So He Should Have A Pretty Good Game Sunday.

I’m calling it. Christian Ponder throws for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns Sunday against the Bears. What’s the reason for my optimism? Well he’s a happy guy. He just got engaged to his sweetheart Samantha Steele. That should provide him the extra motivation he needs to play his best. Forget about playing angry. Play giddy, Christian.

Also, think about this. The last few weeks when Christian was playing pretty bad. During that whole time he was probably just a nervous wreck. Trying to figure out the perfect way to propose. Picking out the right ring. Working up the nerve to finally pop the question. It’s stressful. But he finally did it and now all that weight is off his shoulders. He can play free and loose and easy.

So look out Bears. Christian Ponder’s coming. And this Christian is totally 100% focused on you. He has no more distractions. Everything in his life is sorted out. He’s got his good woman by his side. He’s ready to go out and kick some tail.

And if for some reason Christian doesn’t have a great game against the Bears? We will all know whose fault it was. It was that brazen hussy Samantha! She’ll be getting some angry tweets from me if the Vikings lose this game, you can bet your life on that.
