It seems odd to be talking about real estate on a sports site, but when it is the sometimes starting quarterback, it makes headline news.

Christian Ponder has listed his million dollar home up for sale.  If you have $1,095,000 laying around and want to own the former bachelor pad of a Minnesota Vikings player, you can check out the listing on the Coldwell Banker website.

Try not to read too much into the listing of the house.  There is no reason to believe that this has anything to do with his position with the team or future with the franchise.  Instead, it seems to have a lot more to do with getting the house into the hands of someone that would be more likely to use it.  Since his marriage to Samantha Steele, the house hasn’t been used as much as you’d think for such a huge place.

"“We haven’t lived in that house since June.” Samantha Ponder said on Twitter."

Whether or not the Ponders are able to sell their home is somewhat of a moot point for fans of the organization.  As of now, it appears as though Ponder has a chance to be the starting quarterback for the squad against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
