Quarterback Sam Bradford

Here goes more of the way too early award winners. Sam Bradford is the NFL MVP. In an NFL world of gaudy statistics driving fantasy football, thus driving up ratings the voters will likely overlook Bradford. If you go down to the root of the award and say “Who is the player that was the most valuable to their team’s success in the 2016 season?”,  no player has done anything close to what Sam Bradford has done for the Minnesota Vikings.

The Philadelphia Eagles sent Sam Bradford over in a trade for a first round draft pick 8 days before the season started for the Minnesota Vikings, and he started week 2 in the Inaugural home opener against the Green Bay Packers.

In the 4 games since Bradford took over he has completed 88 of 125 passes (70.4%) for 990 yards, 6 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions for a QB Rating of 109.8. It’s not in his numbers that he stand out though, watching Bradford command the Minnesota Vikings offense has been brilliant. He shows patience, poise, and intelligence. His presence and gamesmanship is rubbing off on the Minnesota Vikings offense as a whole. That is an MVP.
