Fit on the Minnesota Vikings:

Whether it is center or guard, Pocic has the chance to be a day one starter for the team that drafts him in April. He has experience playing every position along the offensive front, which is a plus. A versatile offensive lineman is something that the Vikings lack. Pocic would give them that added factor.

Entering the final year of his contract and turning 35-years-old this summer, it is time for the team to find a successor to one of its best offensive lineman in Joe Berger. The long-time veteran has been a blessing in disguise for the franchise, beating out John Sullivan at center in training camp.

Berger has shown his durability and reliability up front, but it is important that the Vikings have a plan B once Berger steps away from football.

Center Nick Easton is another question mark along the offensive line. Starting four games in 2016, he did not flash as much as the team would’ve liked. Pocic could potentially be competition to Easton at center or be the successor to Berger at right guard.
