Cornerbacks

Left Cornerbacks

  1. Trae Waynes
  2. Terence Newman
  3. Marcus Sherels
  4. Tre Roberson
  5. Sam Brown

Right Cornerbacks

  1. Xavier Rhodes
  2. Mackensie Alexander
  3. Jabari Price
  4. Terrell Sinkfield
  5. Horace Richardson

It looks like it is the Trae Waynes show opposite Xavier Rhodes now. Terence Newman is turning 39 years old this year and should be accepting a more limited role with the team going forward acting as a backup and rotational player.

Mackensie Alexander appears to still be Minnesota Vikings top option for the nickel cornerback job. He’ll likely take some bumps and frustrate fans for a while as he gains confidence and becomes acclimated to the new position.

Marcus Sherels and Jabari Price will likely round out the cornerbacks for the team and provide more depth and competition during the year. While that order could shuffle during the preseason games, but for now that seems to be the rotation.
