Once again, Sherels will be the man handling punt returns for the Vikings, but it also seems he has the advantage when it comes to returning kicks for the team as well. However, he still has plenty of competition for the job.

Adams may be a rookie, but he has a lot of speed and athleticism which make him an interesting choice for the job. He joins running back McKinnon and wide receiver Fruechte in challenging for the job, and they should all rotate during the preseason and get shots at returns.

The punt chart is likely just for show. For now, this is Sherels’ job to lose.
