Minnesota offense grade: A

The Vikings offense had quiet first three-quarters scoring only seven points before erupting for 17 in the fourth quarter. They were not as explosive this week like last week but they were fundamentally sound and did not turn the ball over.

The Vikings got on the board in the early part of the second quarter when Latavius Murray found the end zone on an eight-yard run.

The Vikings offense did their damage in the fourth quarter where they scored 17 points. Latavius Murray scored early in the fourth quarter with a 2-yard run which put the Vikings up by seven.

The next possession for the Vikings would result in their second touchdown of the quarter. Case Keenum found Adam Thielen on a little curl route which Thielen turned on the jets for a 65-yard touchdown.

As good as the Vikings playmakers were, the offensive line was the key for the win on Sunday. The offensive line kept their quarterback from getting sacked for the second straight week. Also, the line helped the Vikings as a team to rush over 100 yards for the second straight week.

The Vikings are 8-2 for many reasons but the offensive line may be the biggest reason they are 8-2. Last year, they didn’t give any time for their quarterback and couldn’t create any holes for the running backs. But this year the line as stepped up and as made a difference.

The final stat lines for Vikings offensive leaders are Keenum was 27/38 for 280 yards and one touchdown, Murray had 15 carries for 95 and two touchdowns and Thielen had six catches for 123 yards and one touchdown.
