The good stuff vs Rams

  1. A long first drive. The Vikings took over 7 minutes on the opening drive and ended it with a Kirk Cousins throw to Aldrick Robinson for a touchdown. This is the kind of football the Vikings need to play and establishing that early against the Rams is great!
  2. No problem passing on offense. Last week, the Vikings offense looked completely inept. Good thing the passing game came right out on point, with Kirk Cousins making some fantastic passes and there only being a limited amount of drops by pass catchers.
  3. Lord Aldrick at your service. He may be wearing Jarius Wright‘s old number, but Robinson provided solid hands and two scores in this game. The receiver has been a bit of a journeyman throughout his career so far, but if he can continue to find ways to contribute, he will have a home in Minnesota.
  4. The problem solver. The Vikings had a major problem at kicker, but Dan Bailey wasn’t contributing to that mess. He was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals with a long of 40 yards and connected on both his extra point attempts, even if the first one was a little scary.
  5. David Morgan can do it all! You need a guy to block? Morgan. Need a guy to catch a pass? Morgan! Longsnapper gets hurt? MORGAN! Whatever question you have, the answer is going to be Morgan…every single time!
