If the Vikings look to replace one of their higher-salaried players at a different position in the first round and wait to address the interior of the offensive line, a guy like Dieter makes a lot of sense for Minnesota.

Set to break the Badgers’ record for most career starts, consistency and versatility is the name of the game for Deiter. Being able to play guard or center and looking good doing both, he could be the next Joe Berger type of player for the purple and gold.

At 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds, he already has the size needed to succeed at the professional level and the fact he’s a fifth-year senior adds even more experience to his resume…and the Vikings could use someone who is ready to be inserted into the lineup as soon as possible.
