5. Margus Hunt

Here is the anomaly to the list. At 32 years old, Margus Hunt will be older than the others on the list when the 2019 season rolls around but might be an option to plug in for a year or two while the team develops a long-term answer at the defensive tackle.

Drafted by the Bengals in the second round of the 2013 Draft, Hunt didn’t start a single game for Cincinnati during his time there. However, when he arrived in Indianapolis, he got 20 starting nods in his 31 games played.

Hunt looked great during the 2018 season, earning career highs in tackles, tackles for a loss, and sacks while earning a reputation as being one of the better run-stuffers in the league after earning a starting gig.

Since the younger, developing players coming off their rookie contracts might be more attractive options for teams in free agency, Hunt might be available for the right price and would fit in well in the Super Bowl window the team has before they need to make even more challenging decisions in the future.
