Jamison Crowder

2018 Stats:

  • 29 catches
  • 388 yards (13.4 average)
  • 2 touchdowns

Along with Garçon, Crowder may be near the top of the list of free-agent receivers that interest the Vikings the most this offseason.

He has spent all four of his years in the NFL as a member of the Washington Redskins and three of them were spent with Kirk Cousins as his quarterback. During each season with Cousins throwing him passes, Crowder finished with at least 58 catches, 600 yards, and two touchdowns.

In 2018, he only appeared in nine games due to an ankle injury, which explains his decrease in production.

The problem with Crowder is that he has mainly lined up in the slot during his career. If he’s on the field, it might take away from Minnesota’s ability to get creative with where they line up Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs.

Still, Crowder has worked with Cousins in the past and the two have found success with each other. This may be enough for the Vikings to consider taking a chance on the free-agent receiver.
