1. Nick Easton, guard

Okay, this one is cheating a bit. With it already being reported that Nick Easton has an offer on the table from the Vikings, it is clear there is some interest in him coming back to Minnesota for the 2019 NFL season.

Add in that finding interior linemen should be the focus of the team, and you have two sides of a deal which should come together and make a deal. He could be penciled in as a starter at guard upon his signing and allow the team to have more flexibility in the draft.

The only real concern is that Easton missed the entire 2018 season while recovering from a neck injury which could scare teams away. But the same report that stated Easton had an offer on the table from the Vikings also stated that two other teams (and possibly more now) are in the mix to land him.

Last year, Easton’s contract would have hit the cap for $2.914M. If they can get him back for under $3M, it should be considered a bargain, especially since he’s already familiar with the team and has proven to be able to play at a high level in the past.

*NOTE: Nick Easton has signed a four-year deal with the Saints worth $24M, so I vastly underrated his market outside of Minnesota.
