New England Patriots

With a scowl that looks like it was carved out of stone and teams giving the New England Patriots their troubled, broken, and awful players to see them turned into Pro Bowlers, it might make sense for Bill Belichick and company to come calling about a potential deal for Treadwell.

As the Patriots prepare for the season, the only accomplished wide receiver on their roster is Julian Edelman. While they also invested a first-round pick in N’Keal Harry, New England could use someone that has some NFL experience to help out Tom Brady and company.

Although Treadwell has been extremely limited in his experience on the field, he could be a bigger compliment to Edelman.

Such moves have been a tradition for the Patriots during the Belichick era as New England has acquired Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett on the cheap and watched them come valuable contributors for Brady.

With Treadwell still only 24-years-old, bringing him in to see if he can pick up the offense could be a winning situation and the Patriots would lose virtually nothing even if he doesn’t end up fitting in.
