Garrett Bradbury – C

It’s no secret that Garrett Bradbury has had a roller coaster of a rookie season so far. One week he looks really good and holds his own against some big, beastly nose tackles, and other weeks he gets manhandled. He was on a good run from about Week 6 to Week 8, but then had a tough outing against the Chiefs. Bradbury will be looking to bounce back this week against Dallas.

The Vikings run game is dependent upon Bradbury’s performance. Not only can he move defenders out of the middle, but where he is most dangerous, is when he gets to the second level. Bradbury is great getting down the field and making blocks on linebackers and safeties. He often has key blocks that spring Alexander Mattison or Dalvin Cook for an additional seven-to-ten yards.

When he’s not getting to the second level because he’s on the ground, the run game suffers. He struggled against the Chiefs and Cook only had 71 yards on the ground.

The Vikings will need the run game humming if they are going to go into Dallas and topple the Cowboys. Bradbury will need to have one of his better games of the season to help get the Vikings back in the win column.
