A.J. Green – CB (Oklahoma State)

The Vikings are definitely going to be drafting corners early and often in the 2020 NFL Draft. With the guys who could leave in free agency and the ones who are currently injured, the once deep unit is suddenly looking very shallow indeed.

A.J. Green is a promising corner prospect who will be participating in the Senior Bowl. He’s got great size at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. He’s a smart, instinctive cover man who can break quickly on the ball. He isn’t a big hitter but wraps up well, always making sure his man his brought to the ground. He had a very productive career at Oklahoma State with 147 career tackles, six interceptions, and 21 pass breakups.

The biggest knock on this kid is that he is sometimes too aggressive, which can lead to him being beaten. Overall though he’s a solid prospect who likely comes off the board sometime on Day 2.

If the Vikings don’t use a first-round pick on a corner, he’s someone they could look to draft on Friday night that could give them a lot of production in his rookie season.
