Allen Robinson – WR

Allen Robinson is one of the best receivers in the game today, but he doesn’t get an ounce of the recognition he deserves. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound receiver and has some of the best and strongest hands in the NFL.

Robinson can do so many things and do them well. He can run sharp routes, go up and high-point the football, and he also has deceptive speed. He’s truly a No. 1 receiver and one that Bears quarterback Nick Foles will be looking to throw to early and often on Monday night.

Robinson, on paper, should have his way with the Vikings young group of cornerbacks. He’s much bigger than Jeff Gladney, so perhaps Minnesota will roll with someone else to cover Robinson in order to get a better matchup from a physical standpoint.

Whoever the Vikings choose to cover the talented Chicago receiver, the experience factor is going to be a major problem for Minnesota. The Vikings young corners have had plenty of brain fart moments in coverage already this season and Robinson can make them have more.

They’ll need to be sure not to bite on the first move Robinson makes and realize he’s going to try and goad them into believing he’s running one route when he’s actually doing something completely different.

If the Bears offense is going to get out of its funk, it’s going to be on the coattails of their star receiver. This is a great matchup for them, so Minnesota will have to rise to the occasion in order to shut Robinson down this Monday night.
