More Bad Things

The Cowboys only had two wins this season heading into the game. Minnesota gave up 31 points to them in this game, which is terribly the amount of points Dallas scored in their last three games combined.

Offensively, the Vikings were obviously missing Ezra Cleveland on the line. He has played well and Garrett Bradbury has seemed to benefit from playing next to him. Minnesota can’t seem to get an offensive line that can stick together for a series of games without dealing with injuries.

Other bad things from Week 11

  • Too many turnovers – Minnesota turned the ball over twice. Kirk Cousins had one fumble that was ripped out of his hands and the other came on a Dalvin Cook catch and run after absorbing a hard hit. Dallas scored 9 points off those turnovers.
  • Missed opportunities – The Vikings defense had some chances to intercept Andy Dalton and help out the offense but failed to reel the ball in. One such opportunity could have sealed the game for Minnesota in the final moments.
  • A lack of pressure – Putting Andy Dalton under pressure should have been the key to dismantling the Dallas passing attack but Minnesota couldn’t get there. The Vikings only had one sack during the game and only landed two hits on Dalton, which is a disappointing effort from the team.
