5 things to know about the Vikings and Jaguars for Week 13

Most one-points games in the NFL
The Vikings have participated in three games during 2020 that the final score resulted in a one-point differential. No other team leaguewide has played in more than two such games. Minnesota was on the nasty end of two one-point losses before Week 12. The Titans edged the purple and gold in Week 3 by a score of 31-30. The defense could not stifle Ryan Tannehill and Co. during a fourth-quarter drive. The same thing occurred in Seattle. Head coach Mike Zimmer’s secondary was unable to prevent Russell Wilson from marching down the field late in the early October game. This is called a theme.
Last week, though, the Vikings snatched the luck for themselves. Kirk Cousins authored a thrilling game-winning drive before — you guessed it — the defense allowed Teddy Bridgewater to race down the field for a would-be game-ending field goal. Instead, Panthers kicker Joey Slye missed a 54-yard kick, and Minnesota escaped with the victory.
