6 free-agent interior linemen the Vikings could sign in 2021

D.J. Fluker
The NFL hasn’t really gone the way many expected it would for D.J. Fluker. The powerhouse was expected to take the league by storm at right tackle and be a road grading monster to open holes in the run game when he was drafted in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Chargers.
Now, Fluker has played for four teams in his eight-year NFL career and will likely add a fifth when he is signed this year. He has been moved inside to guard since 2015 and could be an intriguing option for teams looking to add a solid blocker to the mix.
Signing Fluker would create a nice floor for the right guard position and free up Ezra Cleveland to move to the left side. While it wouldn’t be a flashy move by any means, it would raise the floor which can’t be much lower at the moment considering the “talent” Minnesota has available.
The six-foot-five and 342-pound lineman will be 30 years old in March. Binging some more experience to the line could be a great thing, especially if Minnesota can land Fluker on a budget this offseason.
