6 QBs that only lasted one season with the Minnesota Vikings

Josh Freeman – 2013
Oh no. Maybe you should go back to McNabb because things actually got worse. It’s confusing what happened with Josh Freeman in the NFL since he looked like he was going to be an absolute monster with the Buccaneers in his first four seasons.
Freeman had three big seasons with Tampa Bay, racking up 11,108 yards and throwing 68 touchdowns in those years. But all those statistics can go right out the window because there was no way to be ready for what would happen with him in Minnesota.
The quarterback made his Vikings debut on Monday Night Football in the home of the New York Giants with very little time to prepare. Despite throwing 53 passes in that game, he only completed 20 throws for 190 yards and one interception on the way to a 7-23 loss where the only points were scored on a Marcus Sherels punt return.
One game is all it took for the Minnesota Vikings to move on from Josh Freeman and this game is among the most embarrassing moments for the franchise since it happened on a national stage. Thank goodness not all the quarterbacks on this list had this bad of a showing for the team.
