The Minnesota Vikings will need someone to handle long-snapping duties for the 2021 NFL season and it will likely be one of these players.
Sometimes people take good things for granted. In the NFL, having a good long snapper is like having a trusty appliance in your house: if it runs well and does its job properly, there is no reason to talk about them. Sadly, the Minnesota Vikings have needed to talk about their appliances quite a bit over the last few years.
The purple and gold have struggled to find a consistent special teams unit for years now and acquiring a trusty long snapper has been a part of that search along with the struggles of multiple kickers and holders.
2021 could finally be the season when Minnesota puts it all together and makes a trio of specialists who last for many years and reliably do their job in helping the team move toward a deep playoff run.
