Jefferson will have 150 yards and a touchdown

The Vikings shouldn’t need to throw much in this game, but when they do, the ball will be heading to Justin Jefferson.

We’ve seen Jefferson get off to a solid start to the season with 338 yards and four touchdowns in the first four games. But we haven’t seen the type of blowup game that fueled his record-breaking rookie season.

That could happen against the Lions, who are depleted in the secondary. Top corner Jeffrey Okudah is out for the season with a torn Achilles and Detroit is starting UDFA Bobby Price in his place. While Amani Oruwariye has been respectable, Price has allowed 2.41 yards per coverage snap this season.

This doesn’t sound like the guy you want to be matched up against Jefferson. Even if the Lions decide to swap corners, Jefferson should be able to take advantage.
