4 biggest improvements the Vikings must make following their bye

Personnel decisions
The problem with the Vikings and their personnel decisions the last couple of seasons has been them sticking with guys regardless of how they are performing.
Minnesota did this a season ago by sticking with Dru Samia much longer than they should have and the same can be said about Dakota Dozier. Despite their constant struggles, the team kept putting them out there week after week much to the detriment of the offense.
The Vikings have been repeating this same mistake again this season. The problem has been with cornerback Bashaud Breeland. This guy has been a huge liability in coverage, giving huge cushions to his receivers and then failing to make a play on the ball. He brings nothing as far as run support goes and his poor play was more than worthy of a benching.
The team has actually pulled him in a game and replaced him with Cameron Dantzler, who was a clear upgrade. With Patrick Peterson out for the next few games, Breeland will continue to see starts, but if he continues to struggle the team should give Harrison Hand or Kris Boyd a shot.
A similar situation could be occurring on the offensive line. Oli Udoh has struggled the last couple of games and if he does so again against Dallas, the team should make a move. They have their third-round rookie Wyatt Davis waiting in the wings, and instead of rolling a struggling Udoh out there week after week, they’d be wise to see what they have in young Davis.
