This performance was totally unacceptable
The rumblings are getting louder. For a while now, many people have been calling for some changes to the way the Minnesota Vikings are being run, and no level of the coaching staff or management should be immune to criticism.
Responsibility needs to be taken by some individual (or individuals) for the poor gameplanning, terrible clock management, atrocious playcalling, and other shortcomings this team has left on the field during the 2021 NFL season.
The seat under head coach Mike Zimmer has to be heating up quite a bit as well as that of first-year offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak. It’s even possible that management might not feel there is enough talent on this team to win and look to replace general manager Rick Spielman.
With the trade deadline approaching, a challenging schedule coming up, and a 3-4 record heading into Week 9, Minnesota may not be mathematically eliminated from contention for the NFC North or the NFL Playoffs, but this team hasn’t looked like a playoff-caliber team this year anyway.
