Cleveland Browns

The connection between the Browns and Anthony Barr should be pretty obvious as Cleveland’s head coach Kevin Stefanski spent the first six seasons of the linebacker’s NFL career as a member of the Vikings’ coaching staff.

So Stefanski should be very familiar with what Barr could potentially add to the Browns’ defense in terms of ability, experience, and leadership.

Cleveland currently has a handful of linebackers that are under contract for the 2022 season, but the majority of them don’t have a ton of experience in playing a significant role for an NFL defense.

One of the Browns’ most experienced linebackers from the 2021 campaign, Anthony Walker Jr., is also set to become a free agent this offseason. So it’s possible that Stefanski might try to convince Barr to sign with Cleveland this year to help make up for the loss of Walker on the field and inside the locker room.
