Second-Round Pick:

Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE – South Carolina

Whether the Minnesota Vikings make the decision to stay in the 4-3 defense or make the change to a 3-4 scheme, Kingsley Enagbare would be a huge asset to the team as a pass-rushing lineman or versatile linebacker depending on the team’s need.

In four seasons at South Carolina, Enagbare racked up 120 total tackles (72 solo) by securing the edge but still managed to get 24 tackles for a loss with 15 sacks when attacking the line of scrimmage in his 39 games played.

Since the future of Danielle Hunter is in question based on his huge salary cap hit this season and it is unknown if Everson Griffen will be back in Minnesota, finding pass rushers will be a top priority for the Vikings and it needs to be addressed early in the draft.

Adding two potential starters on defense would be an amazing start to the draft for the Minnesota Vikings, especially when there are so many players becoming free agents this year and how poorly the team’s defense executed their gameplans in 2021.
