Haason Reddick – OLB

It would be a big surprise if the Minnesota Vikings brought Anthony Barr back in free agency. The outside linebacker has been a solid if not spectacular performer for the team since arriving as a first-round pick, but this might be the best time for both parties to go their separate ways, in all honesty.

This leaves the Vikings dangerously short of reliable options at the second level. Something that they need to rectify and especially if Aaron Rodgers ends up staying with the Green Bay Packers this offseason.

Haason Reddick bet on himself during 2021 free agency by signing a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers. He quickly stamped his mark across the organization and proved without a doubt that his 12.5-sack season with the Arizona Cardinals was the start of something great and not just a flash in the pan.

The Temple product was a relentless force flying off the edge in Carolina, forming a tremendous tandem with Brian Burns and finishing the season with 11 sacks. Reddick was unfortunate not to make the Pro Bowl but there could be a big payday coming his way in the weeks ahead.

If the Panthers somehow decide to let Reddick hit the free-agent market, then Minnesota should do everything in their power to put a financial package worth considering to the player’s representatives.
