Build the offense around Justin Jefferson

This should be the most obvious of all the decisions the Minnesota Vikings have to make. They need to make sure they have a quarterback who can get Justin Jefferson the ball, receivers who can take some pressure off him, and an offensive line that can block long enough to make longer-developing plays possible.

The young receiver has racked up over 3.000 yards over the course of his first two seasons in the NFL and has shown no signs of slowing down any time soon. He is a big play waiting to happen thanks to his excellent route running, amazing acceleration, and ability to fight for positioning. All of this is amazing, especially since he will only be 23 years old when the season rolls around.

Building around Jefferson is an easy task since they already have some talented pieces on their roster. To be honest, fixing the offensive line, getting depth at wide receiver, and making sure the tight end position is okay is all the Vikings need to do as far as personnel.

On the other hand, the new coaching staff needs to figure out ways to get the ball into Jefferson’s hands much like the staff of the Rams did to make Cooper Kupp has the amazing year he did. If this staff can do even a fraction of that for Justin Jefferson, he will easily be among the top of the league in receiving yards again.
