Greg Joseph, Kicker

Bringing back Jordan Berry would be nice but bringing back Greg Joseph to pair with him would be great as well. The two worked well together on field goals and seemed to have chemistry when it comes to not messing up the procedure.

Joseph’s one-year contract was for $780,000 last year and bringing him back at or around that salary for 2022 makes a really great pair to bring into training camp. Of course, the Vikings could bring competition in for both these players with late-round picks or undrafted free agents to push them.

Vikings fans know what it is like to deal with missed kicks. Joseph connected on a career-high 86.8 percent of his field goal attempts last season with two of his five misses coming from outside of 50 yards while also doing well on kickoffs.

It wouldn’t be shocking if the price tag goes up on Greg Joseph after his good season last year. However, it shouldn’t skyrocket to the point where he would no longer be one of the best options for the Vikings this year.
