Kyle Rudolph, tight end

First, let me preface this by saying that there should still be a market for Kyle Rudolph. He is a tall tight end who could be an excellent threat in the red zone thanks to his extremely large catch radius.

His one year with the Giants at $6M per year turned out to be a huge flop as “Big Country” only caught 26 passes for 257 yards and one touchdown. That doesn’t mean he couldn’t be a reliable backup for Irv Smith Jr. considering his struggles to stay on the field.

Ten seasons with Minnesota will make some fans nostalgic, but odds are that Rudolph will find himself signing a deal somewhere to be a split-time tight end and for closer to $2-3M on a one-year deal.

Rudolph made the decision not to retire after his 2021 season and bringing him back to Minnesota for what could possibly be his final season would be a great way to say goodbye to a contributor for many years as well as one that can bring depth to a position where Tyler Conklin looks set to cash in this offseason.
