Everson Griffen, defensive end

It would be so nice if Everson Griffen could return to the NFL for at least one more season to make memories for the Minnesota Vikings. Reuniting with Danielle Hunter looked good for the veteran pass rusher despite struggles with other teams.

Griffen was solid in Detroit and Dallas, but there seems to be something special about him when he puts on a purple and gold uniform. His energy and passion are infectious and he still has the skills to get to opposing quarterbacks if needed.

Although it would be completely understandable if Griffen decides to retire to spend time with his family and continue to work on his personal issues, there would be something special about bringing him back to finish out his season.

With the future of Danielle Hunter in Minnesota yet to be determined, having an athletic player with a huge motor on the roster to be at least a rotational pass rusher would be a huge benefit and one that should be explored this offseason.
