Keelan Cole – WR

2021 Team: New York Jets

Adding a wide receiver probably isn’t at the top of the priority list for the Vikings this offseason, but they might look to the free-agent market to find a veteran who can be their No. 4 receiver for the 2022 campaign.

After an above-average season with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020 (55 catches, 642 yards, five touchdowns), Keelan Cole saw his production take a dip in 2021 as a member of the Jets. However, Cole’s performance with the Jaguars in 2020 was when Keenan McCardell was his wide receivers coach, a position that McCardell now holds with Minnesota.

Kyle Fuller – CB

2021 Team: Denver Broncos

After seven years with the Chicago Bears, Kyle Fuller reunited with Vic Fangio and Ed Donatell last season in Denver. Fuller’s performance with the Broncos in 2021 wasn’t anything to rave about, but he can still provide value to a secondary, especially one that is as young as Minnesota’s.

Fuller’s best years in the NFL came when Donatell was his defensive backs coach in Chicago, so it wouldn’t be too surprising if the two of them reunited in the Twin Cities.
