Teddy Bridgewater – QB

This might seem a little strange to put Teddy Bridgewater on this list considering he is clearly going to be a backup quarterback option for the Miami Dolphins. However, considering the injury problems surrounding Tua Tagovailoa throughout his college and pro career, one could argue this is a tremendous landing spot for the veteran signal-caller.

Bridgewater could use a bit of luck after everything he’s been through during a turbulent career that saw the Louisville product almost lose his leg after a freak training camp incident that significantly derailed the Minnesota Vikings’ chances of mounting a legitimate Super Bowl challenge. If he does end up seeing the field in Miami for whatever reason, then this might be the set-up that finally reignites the player’s career.

After unsuccessful stints with the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, Bridgewater could be throwing passes to an elite attack next season if Tagovailoa is forced out at some stage. The Dolphins have an embarrassment of riches following their bombshell trade for Tyreek Hill and couple this with a much-improved offensive line after the signings of Terron Armstead and Connor Williams in free agency, everything is in position for the organization providing whoever is under center also lives up to their end of the bargain.

Should he fail to meet objectives or get hurt, then Bridgewater could step in and immediately make an impression. Something that looks entirely possible at one stage or another.
