No. 14: Ryan Tannehill (Tennessee Titans)

After finishing with a passer rating of at least 106.5 in 2019 and 2020, Ryan Tannehill saw his performance take a bit of dip last season as he ended the 2021 campaign with an 89.6 passer rating.

Part of Tannehill’s regression in 2021 definitely had to do with the Titans being without star running back Derrick Henry for nine games. This resulted in the veteran quarterback attempting more passes (531) than he ever has in one season in a Tennessee uniform.

If Henry can stay healthy for the majority of the 2022 campaign, it should allow Tannehill to return to the quarterback that he was for the Titans in 2019 and 2020.

No. 13: Kirk Cousins (Minnesota Vikings)

We all know that Kirk Cousins can put up good numbers. But so far in his career, these numbers have resulted in a grand total of one playoff victory for Cousins.

The Vikings are hoping that with a new offensive-minded head coach in Kevin O’Connell, the team will be able to figure out how to use Cousins’ skills in a way that will translate into more success than he’s ever experienced in his career before.

With Minnesota essentially going out and hiring a head coach who wants to do everything he can to help Cousins succeed, we are finally going to see if the quarterback is capable of taking his performance to an elite level.
