KJ Jefferson – Arkansas

Things are coming along gradually where KJ Jefferson is concerned. The Arkansas quarterback made major progress throughout the season and even though it’s not perfect, going back to college is undeniably the best thing for his development right now.

Jefferson has electrifying traits that cannot be taught. His dual-threat presence out of the backfield is renowned and feared in equal measure, but it’s his progress as a passer that was arguably more impressive in 2022.

Seeing this growth is a strong indicator that Jefferson takes coaching well and is emerging as a true leader within the Razorbacks’ locker room. This is a completely different avenue for the Minnesota Vikings to go down based on Kirk Cousins’ strengths, but it’s a wildcard to consider providing the curve continues upward next season.

The arm strength, physicality, and competitiveness Jefferson brings to the table already appear NFL-ready. If strides are made in terms of mechanics and decision-making, someone is going to have a real player on their hands.

As stated previously, projecting where certain prospects will land is sketchy at best for 2024. But Jefferson does look like someone that could be a first-rounder, given his current career trajectory.
