Darren Sharper Was Not Amused by Visanthe Shiancoe’s Osama Bin Laden Joke

Darren Sharper and Visanthe Shiancoe‘s Twitter sniping has been an amusing little diversion in the middle of an otherwise boring stretch of the off-season.

Did I say amusing? Well, I thought Darren was amused by Visanthe’s antics. But after Darren’s last three tweets at Visanthe, I have a feeling the Saints safety is no longer laughing.

Apparently, Darren thought Visanthe’s last joke – setting up a picture of Osama Bin Laden at a target range and drawing a big number 42 on his chest – wasn’t all that clever.

And Darren promises to remember how not-funny that joke was when the two teams meet on opening night. Sharper tweeted:

"ok homeboy you done went too far, making me out to be something that has brought this country alot of heartache.Imma bust you right under your chinstrap from the first play on. I don’t care about the fine. F the money Imma do it for the red,white&blueAnd you’ll see me cuz I’ll be dressed in black & gold. Protect your neck that’s all the warning you get."

I don’t know how much clearer Sharper can be than that. He is legitimately ticked off at Visanthe Shiancoe and intends to hurt him.

I guess Shank found Sharper’s sore-spot. Call him old? He doesn’t care. Say you’re going to injure him? He doesn’t sweat it. Make a joke comparing him to the most notorious terrorist on the planet?

He will lose his s**t entirely.

I just hope for Darren’s sake that his body will be able to cash all these checks his mouth – or, rather, fingers – are writing right now. I mean, he is pretty old. And for all we know he won’t even make the team coming out of camp.
