I’ve been hearing this crazy stuff going around lately. These fans are saying they WANT the Vikings to lose so next year they can draft Andrew Luck. And these people actually think it’s okay to ROOT FOR THEIR OWN TEAM TO LOSE! No no no no. I don’t care how bad you are and I don’t care what great quarterback is available in the draft next year…it is NOT OKAY to root for your own team to lose. EVER. Obviously these people have been driven crazy by their own frustration and disappointment and are no longer thinking clearly. I can tell you this kind of craziness will never happen to me. I don’t care how much they lose, they will always be my team and I will never give in. I will never let myself be taken in by Suck for Luck thinking. That is just defeatist. And don’t try to sell me that crap about how you’re a real fan because you care about the long-term, and people who are still rooting for victories are not real fans. People who root no matter what the realest fans of all and the Suck for Luck people are just sad depression-cases who have twisted themselves in all sorts of knots. Seriously Suck for Luckers…find a better coping strategy. Drink more. Pick a second team to root for. Get yourself a new puppy. You are absolutely nuts if you think it’s okay to root for losses.

Olof, it’s over. We are 0-4 and things are not looking up. It’s negative in the locker room and it’s negative in the press room and it’s negative when you walk down Hennepin Ave. This season is done and we should just mail it in. Imagine how good this team will be NEXT year when we Suck for Luck! I mean Rick Speilman is a genius. We could trade the #1 overall for a pretty fine piece of real estate or we keep it to draft Luck. That my friend is what we like to call a win win. One thing is clear we need to get better and the only way to get better is to lose and I mean lose ’em all. We need better players on this team and the better players are higher in the draft order. How do you get higher in the draft order? You suck and you lose. Now if this team were 2-2 and showed some promise then I would be the first one with pom poms and a Purple and Gold V on my chest. But we’re not. We are 0-4 and completely suck. Lose! Lose I say! Let’s get some better talent in here and there is no one out there better than Luck! SUCK FOR LUCK! SUCK FOR LUCK! SUCK FOR LUCK!
